OUR STORY

We started off as a small family run bakery in south Stockholm. We had to compete with family run businesses such as The Miami Bakehouse and the Swedish Girl Scouts. Times were hard but we slowly grew and before we knew it we were rolling in dough, literally. That’s how good it was. Then we had some difficult business decisions to make. We could either open up a shop in Manhatten and build the francise from there or rent out a suburban home in Rhode Island. We didn’t have to think twice. Next thing you know we were setting up a Fjurg Van Der Ploeg’s Swedish Bakery in the middle of Rhode Island.
